  2. History of the RuneQuest society

What is it?

The first meeting of German RuneQuest fans took place pentecost 1990 in Köln (Cologne) at the First German RuneQuest Con. It was organized by Lutz Reimers-Rawcliffe, who announced on the convention that a German translation of RQ3 had been bought by a German company for publication. This event has been repeated every year since, at varying places in Germany, and has forged a sizeable group of RuneQuest- and Glorantha-enthusiasts over the years. In autumn 1991 the founding meeting of the "Deutsche RuneQuest-Gesellschaft" was held in Köln.
